Hi D Jordan! I'd be open to having an open conversation on the topic here if you are. If you can explain clearly where I went wrong and what I shared is dangerous I'm happy to remove it or update my information.

If you choose to engage (no pressure) please include valid sources for me to consider.

Can you clarify how wearing a small piece of mouth tape would make sleep apnea more dangerous? If you stop breathing bc of sleep apnea, wouldn't you just wake up and realize that you have tap on mouth and remove it?

"When this happens, carbon dioxide accumulates in the blood, causing the sleeping person to wake up to gasp for breath." - https://www.verywellhealth.com/carbon-dioxide-retention-and-sleep-3015339. Plus, mouth tape comes off pretty easily.

In addition, from my research, by breathing through your nose, you lower your risk of in sleep apnea in the first place https://www.healthline.com/health/nose-breathing#benefits.
